ANIMAL RELOCATION TO SENEGAL: HOW IS THIS DONE?
Your departure to Senegal with your four-legged companion has finally been confirmed – now just a small detail remains to ensure their entry into this country. Don’t worry, the veterinary and administrative process is really easy!

The minimum time period between the start of formalities to be carried out and your pet’s trip to Senegal is at least two weeks.
VETERINARY PROTOCOL AND ADMINISTRATIVE STEPS REGARDING PET TRANSPORT TO SENEGAL
To ensure safe passage for your pets into Senegal, your cat or dog must:
- Have a Pet Passport
- Be identifiable through a microchip
- Have all of their vaccinations up-to-date
- Be vaccinated against rabies (vaccine dating more than 30 days, but less than a year prior to departure)
From a veterinary point of view, everything is arranged, now just the “International Certificate of Good Health” needs to be issued by your vet, within three days prior to your departure.
With your vet having arranged everything, your dog or cat is ready to travel to Senegal.
