VETERINARY PROTOCOL AND ADMINISTRATIVE STEPS ABOUT YOUR DOG, CAT AND OTHER ANIMALS TRANSPORT TO MOROCCO

To board a plane to Morocco with your cat and/or dog, your pet must:

  • Have a European passport
  • Be identifiable through a microchip
  • Have their vaccinations up-to-date
  • Be vaccinated against rabies (vaccine dating more than 30 days, but less than a year prior to departure)
  • Be accompanied by an international certificate of good health (issued as a separate document to the passport), issued by your vet within seven days prior to departure. This must be legalised by the Departmental Directorate for Public Protection (the “DDPP”, formerly the “DSV”) in your vet’s region.

You’ve just entered the premises of the DDPP… You can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you’re finally ready for your pet’s departure to Morocco.
