What is the difference when my pet travels with me and when transported in cargo?
What is the difference when my pet travels with me and when transported in cargo?
When your pet travels with you, it is attached to your plane ticket and the flight reservation for your pet is made directly with the airline.
During an accompanied trip, the airline charges you in the form of a flat rate (generally between 50 and 150 euros depending on the weight of your animal).
When your animal travels in cargo, it is unaccompanied transport, so your animal is traveling alone and is not attached to your plane ticket.
For freight transport, our services are responsible for booking the flight.
When transporting cargo, airlines charge us based on the size of the cage in the hold of the plane and not based on the weight of your animal.
