Difference Between My Pet’s Weight, Cage Weight, and Your Billing

Why is there a difference between the weight of my pet and its cage and your payment?

When your animal is transported as cargo, airlines charge for the size of the transport cage in the hold of the plane, and not for the weight of your animal and its cage.

This is why we may indicate a higher weight for your animal.

Example your cat weighs 5Kg, and it has a T2 cage which makes a total weight of 11KGs. The T2 cage measuring: 49 x 51 x 69 cm, it is on this basis that the calculation will be made.

Whereas when your animal travels accompanied by your plane ticket, the airlines offer you a package.
