MOVING PETS TO CAMBODIA: HOW IS THIS DONE?
Your trip to Cambodia is drawing near. Now you need to prepare your four-legged companion for their journey.
To organise your pet’s trip, you need to adhere to certain rules.

The minimum time period between the start of formalities to be carried out and your pet’s trip to Cambodia is at least two months.
VETERINARY PROTOCOL AND ADMINISTRATIVE STEPS ABOUTANIMAL TRANSPORT TO CAMBODIA
To ensure that your dogs, cats or other friends meet the requirements for importation into Cambodia, they will need:
- A European passport. Your vet will be able to provide you with one.
- A microchip
- All their vaccinations must be up-to-date. Their vaccination against rabies must date more than 30 days, but less than a year
- A serological test (blood test to be done 30 days after the rabies vaccine).

Your departure has been arranged, now you just have to have the certificate of good health issued within ten days prior to departure. This document must be issued by your vet as a document separate to the passport.
